Lunch with the ‘Eichlerholic’ (Wally Fields)
Wally Fields, the ‘Eichlerholic’, met us on August 15, 2004 when he was writing a column for the Eichler Network magazine.
Wally and his photographer, Mark Watson, visited our street, Via Sereno, to interview several residents and take photographs. The story, Back to the Winchester Mystery Houses, was printed in the Fall 2004 edition of the Eichler Network.

Lunch with Wally
Bryan met with Wally in Milpitas and they had lunch at the Olive Garden. Wally brought several books that he thought would inspire us. (Yes, they did as we bought three books from Amazon.com.)
During our conversation, Wally recommended a number of potential architects who focus on mid-century modern design and Eichlers.
It was great to spend time with Wally and obtain his insight into our project.
