The winter rains have settled in. 

After a very dry season, February was wet.  And the first three days of March have been soaking wet in Monte Sereno/Los Gatos. 

Here is some data regarding rainfall.  In the current ‘season’ (July 1 through June 30), there have been 16.57 inches of rain (to 21:47 Pacific on 03/03/09).  In the past 48 hours, we received 2.55 inches of that rain, or ~15.4% of the season’s rainfall.  This data is from the Santa Clara Valley Water District‘s station RF125 (by Vasona Reservoir) on the map below.  Our site is less than a mile from this weather station.
