Milestones

This project started in April 2008 and there have been a number of key milestones during the construction.

We reached the following key milestones during our construction:

Received approval from Site and Architecture Commission on 07/14/08
Started deconstructing parts of our original Eichler home on 09/30/08
Shipped our Redwood Decking and Douglas Fir beams to Jackel Enterprises on 10/09/08 for remilling
Drilled concrete piers on 11/06/09
Completed reshaping our swimming pool on 11/29/08
Received building permit on 12/05/08
Started excavation on 12/08/08
Completed drainage below foundation on 01/07/09
Completed insulating foundation on 01/27/09
Poured the 3 inch protection slab on 02/02/09
Poured the 14 inch structural slab on 03/11/09
Shotcreted foundation walls on 04/08/09
Shotcreted garage walls on 04/30/09
Placed steel beams for main floor structure on 05/08/09
Placed 48 hollow core concrete panels for main floor on 05/12/09
Completed backfilling excavation around perimeter on 05/26/09
Framed bearing walls under our structural steel beams on 06/26/09
Installed interior stairs and bridges on 09/21/09
Welded posts to steel beams on 10/10/09
