The changes to the main floor will include the following:
- Completely remodel the kitchen, with new kitchen cabinets, a larger built-in refrigerator and a kitchen island.
- Relocate the master bedroom to the front of the house to create a master suite, with a full bathroom (two sinks, toilet, and separate tub and shower) and a large walk-in closet.
- Cover the existing atrium.
- Change one of the bedrooms to a powder room and laundry room.
- Reduce the size of the garage and add a stairway to the lower level.
- Increase the size of the footprint of the existing house by 18 square feet.

New Lower Level
The lower level is all new construction. The finished floor to finished ceiling height will be 9½ feet and include a central atrium that is open to the main floor and to the new flat roof, which will have clerestory windows on all sides.
